Welcome to Croyde Camping
Croyde Camping is a small family run camp site overlooking Croyde Bay with fantastic views of the beach and ocean.
The camp site is located close to the village of Croyde in North Devon which is a magical place, steeped in old-world charm and a delightful coastal community of colour-washed thatched cottages with a beautiful sandy bay. Croyde is said by many to be the best surfing beach in the UK, and there can be few villages in the country with such a perfect blend of picturesque charm and vibrant life!
The wide sheltered bay, with its long broad sweep of golden sands offers safe bathing and excellent surfing. The beach is privately owned and well kept, is patrolled by lifeguards between May and September and has the prestigious Seaside Award. The adjoining National Trust land at Baggy Point provides delightful walking with excellent views. Cycling, horse riding, golf and tennis are all available locally. There is a variety of pubs and restaurants all providing extensive menus, and several cafes to indulge yourself with a Devon cream tea.
The camp site can only accommodate tents and is classed as ‘basic camping’ which for many is absolutely perfect.
The gate is open from 8.00am and closes again at 10.00pm
